Payroll/HR Coordinator

Position: Payroll/HR Coordinator

Department: HR

Status: Regular full-time

Work Days/Hours:

Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; college degree in business/HR preferred
• Payroll experience and knowledge of wage & hour regulations required
• Experience in busy HR department preferred
• Strong computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and recordkeeping skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality on-site

Duties:

• Prepare, review, and process bi-weekly payroll for 140+ employees
• Compile, complete, and distribute payroll reports
• Facilitate the new hire/transfer/termination processes
• Create and maintain personnel/payroll records and files
• Manage employee uniform program
• Respond to employment verification inquiries and garnishment orders, general correspondence internally and externally
• Assist employees with questions regarding company policies and procedures
• Support HR team with special projects and administrative duties
